SUPW

Today our college conducted a SUPW program for the first years included in the curriculum. We were asked to create things useful for society and environment. The time allotted to complete the work was three hours. I created an craft work using paper and cup . The other things made by the students include warley art, fabric painting ๐ŸŽจ, doll๐Ÿช† making, bird ๐Ÿฆ nest , embroidery ๐Ÿชก bangle holder , bottle ๐Ÿพ art ๐ŸŽจ, wall hangings, paper ๐Ÿ“œ bags ๐Ÿ›️ etc. Our works were exhibited department wise and the teachers evaluated our creations.

Today was our first NSS programme. The venue was near Vembayam junction. The place was initially used for garbage dumping and unauthorised parking. We reached the place at 9 am and started cleaning the place . The place had a garbage collecting box set up by the corporation but the area nearby was covered in garbage. There is a small canal which had garbage and other kinds of dirt in it. We started cleaning the place using hoe and pickaxe. We dug out plastics and glass pieces from the area. A bamboo fence was made and was set across the waste collecting unit. We planted plants within the fence and watered them using the canal water . We were also accompanied by our physical education teacher Nishanth sir , Mrs.Liby Cheriyan , Mr. Naseer and Mr, Junaid. They provided us with proper instructions and made our first campaign a huge success. After seeing our work the local people assured us of taking care of the place and the plant's within it. Today Vembayam Unit Kannyakulangara Govt. LPS conducted Vigyannotsavam. We reached school at 9 o'clock. On reaching the school he was allotted in the registration section. We have completed the registration of all students. After that the teacher gave us instructions about the exam. The inaugural section was conducted at 10 am. After that all students went to class and exam started.. we (anju, shilpa and me) were allotted high school category.We experimented with students and guided them on how to write explanations. At 1' o'clock all the students and we went for lunch.After the break, the exam started at 1.45. The exam ended at 4 pm. The instructors of the festival gave us certificates. We left school at 4 30.
