selection of Christmas friend

Today we chooses the Christmas friend in our college. All the college members are included the selection including management and non teaching staff. Principle take the first lot and continue teachers to student's.

Today we performed a skit as part of our Performing Arts Assessment. We were a group of 9 students - 4 from English and 5 from Commerce department. Our skit was named " Aham" which means 'self'. The theme of our skit was partiality, a problem faced by majority of students. The setting was that of a school . Characters include: Anagha Krishnan - Principal Anusree BK - teacher Karthika N -teacher Subhana - school manager Reshma - student Sharafa - student Kavya - student Nandhu - student (principal's son) Shilpa - Reshma' s mother The skit revolves around a school setup wherein a teacher is partial among her students . The teacher favours the rich kids and the principal's son and treats the poor kids badly . The teacher failed the studious kids and gives full marks to the principal's son. NSS WORK സ്‌നേഹാരാമം

Today was our first NSS programme. The venue was near Vembayam junction. The place was initially used for garbage dumping and unauthorised parking. We reached the place at 9 am and started cleaning the place . The place had a garbage collecting box set up by the corporation but the area nearby was covered in garbage. There is a small canal which had garbage and other kinds of dirt in it. We started cleaning the place using hoe and pickaxe. We dug out plastics and glass pieces from the area. A bamboo fence was made and was set across the waste collecting unit. We planted plants within the fence and watered them using the canal water . We were also accompanied by our physical education teacher Nishanth sir , Mrs.Liby Cheriyan , Mr. Naseer and Mr, Junaid. They provided us with proper instructions and made our first campaign a huge success. After seeing our work the local people assured us of taking care of the place and the plant's within it.
